• Shelter Program
o A unique program that utilizes the strengths of both the client and the shelter provider. This is the quickest introduction of your program/operation into the maquiladora program by forming a “partnership” under the shelter provider’s maquiladora program.
• Start-Up Management
o This program allows NOVA/LINK the opportunity to take your business from site selection through complete implementation of the program which will ultimately be transferred to your own private maquiladora corporation.
• Contract Manufacturing
o This form of manufacturing typically refers to a per unit costing format. NOVA/LINK in many cases can offer contract manufacturing programs for products with which we have experience or with which we can form a relationship with the Client to provide services through a per unit format.
• Distribution & Warehousing
o NOVA/LINK’S Distribution center and warehouse in Brownsville, Texas provides full service distribution and warehousing functions. This added service allows our client’s to maximize cost savings through the elimination of unnecessary freight and handling by utilizing a center as close as possible to the actual manufacturing site.
NOVA/LINK has developed a world class shelter program where we become our clients’ manufacturing partner. We have stepped up the old concept of shelter provider by making available to our clients our expertise in actual manufacturing processes. Today, many of our clients have elected to not have on site personnel, but rather train NOVA/LINK in their processes and then entrust us with the oversight and management of their program. This further enhances the cost savings of your Mexico operation with NOVA/LINK.
Under our shelter program, we have perfected the format in which our clients can relocate into Mexico and pay for our services through an hourly rate or per-unit pricing. Under these formats the client provides the machinery, raw materials, and expertise necessary to train NOVA/LINK in the manufacture of their product. NOVA/LINK in turn brings all of the aspects of Mexico to the program. We provide the transportation between Brownsville, TX and our Mexican facilities on our private truck fleet, the Mexican brokering services, full management and engineering staff, and all of the legal and permitting functions for the execution of the manufacturing operations. Once we have learned your processes and quality requirements, it is your decision at what level you remain involved in the day to day running of the program.
This format allows us to set up a specially designed production layout to meet our clients' needs. Together we implement the program and effectively train our staff and operators so production can then be left to NOVA/LINK. It's like having your "own" manufacturing division in Mexico.
We at NOVA/LINK, understand the importance of the environment that we create, not only for our clients but also for those that work at NOVA/LINK. It is our goal to ensure a safe and inviting environment for our employees. Our facilities are first class and have been approved for ISO 9000, UL, FDA and QS as well as being qualified for service by Wal-Mart, Disney, Nike, and JC Penny's to name a few.
In addition to our Shelter Program and our Contract Manufacturing, NOVA/LINK can also work with you under our Start-Up format in order to provide a customized and smooth transition in bringing your manufacturing operation to Mexico.

The contract duration is up to the discretion of the customer with a minimum of one year, where upon completion, the customer may elect to take over the operations or choose to further extend the NOVA/LINK services. We can continue to provide support on an ongoing basis even after we have officially turned the operation over to our clients or maintain certain support functions throughout the program.
The Contract Manufacturing format was added to our operations to facilitate those clients accustomed to paying a per unit price for their products. We will work with our clients to acquire the necessary machinery and to design the production operation to produce their product. Even under this format, we develop a tight relationship with our clients to ensure the success of the operation. NOVA/LINK will still maintain the services provided under the shelter format.
Along with the primary service of the physical manufacturing, NOVA/LINK provides many levels of project management. We become involved with the client at the beginning stages of project review and cost analysis and follow through with the client to the actual relocation and set up of the facility. We are there to help guide and advise the client on what considerations need to be included and how to best execute their plan from the experience we have gained from our past relocation projects. We continue the management of the project from supervision through project managers. Mexico has the skilled personnel necessary to fill most positions. NOVA/LINK will locate these individuals based on the programs needs.
NOVA/LINK completes the manufacturing experience by providing full warehouse and distribution services for our clients in our Brownsville facility.
